What's Next for Spring 2016 Graduates

For the May 2016 graduates of Logsdon Seminary, receiving their diplomas represents a step toward the future to which God has called them.

 

For the May 2016 graduates of Logsdon Seminary, receiving their diplomas represents a step toward the future to which God has called them. For some, answering the question, “What’s next?” is an easy statement; for others, trusting God for His timing is what is on the immediate horizon.

Tracey Anderson-Tellado received her Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree (Theology/Spirituality tracks); she plans to continue her work as the student minister at First Christian Church in Beeville, Texas.

Scott Appleton received a dual degree – Master of Arts in Family Ministry (MAFM) and Master of Arts in Family Psychology (MAFP); he plans to find a job in counseling and continue working toward licensure as a counselor/therapist.

Addie Barnett received her MDiv (Theology/Pastoral tracks) degree; she is waiting on a call to church work, but will continue to serve as a volunteer in her current church – The Branch, in Abilene, Texas.

Dan Carpenter received his MAFM degree; he and his wife co-founded the non-profit, Carpenters for Christ, in April 2014, and will continue work with couples in both pre-marriage and marriage situations.

Yvonne Harold received her MDiv (Theology/Pastoral tracks) degree; she will continue her work as a pastor of Destin Ministries in Killeen, Texas.

Bridgette Onion Langford received her MDiv (Theology/Mission tracks) degree; she will continue to be involved in the ministry of middle, high and college students all over the world especially Romania. “I aspire to raise the awareness of social issues that youth confront while modeling a life that points them to Christ,” she said.

Matthew Molina received his MDiv (Theology/Family Ministry tracks) degree; he will await a call as he relocates to San Antonio, his hometown.

Susan Oyedele received her MAFM degree; she will continue her work as a children’s ministry director in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Robert “Cory” Patterson received his dual degree – MAFM/MAFP; he will be relocating to Fremont, Nebraska, where he will assume the position as Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Outreach for the Presbyterian Church of Fremont.

Daryel Person received his MAFM degree; he is awaiting a call to a church and hopes to be able to do something in sports ministry.

Rochelle Roots received her MAFM degree; she will continue her work as the founder and director of Living the Life Ministries in Portland, Texas.

J.T. Thornton received his MAFM degree; he has relocated to San Antonio to serve as the youth pastor for Shearer Hills Baptist Church.

Collin Wilcox received his MDiv (Theology/Pastoral tracks) degree; he is awaiting a permanent call to church ministry.

Robin Wiley received her MAFM degree; she will continue her work as manager of the McAllen campus of the South Texas School of Christian Studies in McAllen, Texas.

Ferrell Foster received his Doctor of Ministry (DMin) degree; Ferrell is the current associate director of the Christian Life Commission for the Baptist General Convention of Texas, and will continue in that capacity after graduation.

Ward Hayes received his DMin degree; Ward is the pastor at Valley Grove Baptist Church in Stephenville, Texas, and will continue in that capacity after graduation.
