As a part of Hardin-Simmons University, Logsdon Seminary's central campus in Abilene, Texas has Off-Campus Housing maintained by the university and available to both undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled for a least nine hours during the long semesters. Three options are available:
University Place Apartments
A 32-unit apartment complex near the campus, these units are completely furnished and are available in a one, two, and three bedroom arrangement. All units have central heat and air, as well as ceiling fans. Residents must pay for their own electricity, but water, gas, cable, local telephone, and Ethernet access are provided. No pets.
Wolfe Student Complex at Northland Court
Located near the campus, all six units feature two baths and two bedrooms. Each apartment has central heat and air, ceiling fans, stove, refrigerator, and washer and dryer, but is otherwise unfurnished. Residents must pay water and electricity. No pets.
The available houses do fill up quickly, however, vacancies sometimes occur.
The university owns approximately 70 houses that are in close proximity to the campus. The units are primarily one-bedroom duplexes and two-bedroom homes. Each unit has central heat, but each tenant must provide their own window air conditioning units. The university pays for local phone in all units and water in most. Tenants are responsible for gas, electricity, and cable bills. Most houses have washer/dryer hookups.
A limited number of residency hall rooms may be available to commuting students. These can be especially helpful for Logsdon Seminary students who come to the Abilene campus for DMin seminars, January or May term, summer terms, and weekend courses.
