As Logsdon Seminary welcomes thirty new seminarians during the Fall 2010 semester, it celebrates an all-time high combined enrollment of 121 students participating in theological education and ministry preparation. The students, who are enrolled in one of the seminary’s degree programs including the Master of Divinity, Master of Arts in Family Ministry and Doctor of Ministry degrees, have the opportunity to take classes at any one of Logsdon’s four campus locations in Abilene, Corpus Christi, Lubbock and San Antonio.
Logsdon’s Corpus Christi extension, located at the South Texas School of Christian Studies, recorded its highest enrollment ever this fall.
A large number of Logsdon’s new students have also begun the MAFM and MDiv programs at the Abilene campus this semester, and the second DMIN cohort began at full capacity.
“We are very pleased to see that the seminary is continuing to experience steady growth and even its highest enrollment ever, especially at a time when many institutions are seeing declining numbers,” said Bob Ellis, Associate Dean for Logsdon Seminary. “We are particularly grateful for the work of Meredith Stone, the seminary’s Coordinator of Recruitment Services, for her service to the seminary.”
